All the bloomin' trees around here have been just beautiful, even if it is about a month early for them all.
My kids and I went for a walk in one of our county parks. This
particular park is actually a small island in the Missouri River that is
accessible when the river is low. If the river water is high you
cannot get to the island. This area is full of deer, cardinals,
squirrels, racoons, opossums, and wild turkey. My kids saw a doe that I
was not able to catch with my camera, but I did get them looking at it.
I love moments like this.
Our slide gets pretty dirty since it sits under a tree. We frequently
have to hose it down and sometimes even use soap to get the sap off of
it. It's best to not wear shoes during this task. ;-)
