More From the Cemetery

The main reason for my frequent trips to the cemetery lately is to see if the goslings have hatched yet. As you can see they have not and Mama got a little vocal with me this time. But, after I had been there a while, she seemed to start to realize I was/am not going to hurt her or bother her nest. This was taken with a zoom lens, but I did get closer with my cellphone camera and she stayed calm at that point.

 

I love the quietness and calmness of the cemetery... of all cemeteries.  They are so serene and for some reason I find them comforting.  I love seeing the things that people do for their loved ones graves.  One few of the graves have solar lights on them.  These serenity lights are really cool.  I decided to use one of them for an abstract photo.

As I was walking through the cemetery I found an opportunity to shoot a FWIS photo.  So, here I am standing at a curb from the road in the cemetery to the grassy area.
