Sports Mom

So, I'm not just a swim mom. My son is involved in sports, too. Not just football, either. Right now is his shortest season. He plays basketball in one of the Y teams. So, sometimes I spend my time at the Y going back and forth between the observation windows that look out onto the pool and the gym to watch two practices at once.

I love my home state. I was born and bred in Missouri. It's the only place I've ever lived. I am a Missouri Mule through and through. Missouri is full of cliffs like these. We have and abundance of clay, sand and limestone. I love these cliffs along the river, two very powerful forces of nature and they are a huge part of my home.
