Memories in the Making

Day 10 of the 30 day challenge is "A Childhood Memory." I decided instead of taking some mundane picture of something from my childhood to use a picture from my daughter's childhood... a memory in the making.

This is the second year that she has gone away for a week to Girl Scout Camp. This year her friend Emma went with her. Emma's mom and I dropped the girls off this afternoon to begin their week of camp. Here they are posing right before we left them. We will go pick them up on Saturday afternoon.

 This picture was taken from the top deck of the Lewis and Clark Confluence Memorial in Hartford, IL. It is the skyline of downtown St. Louis, MO. My lens was at 720 mm when I took this picture.
