Ok, so this is from our day at the dog park. I'm going to be posting a
lot of pictures that I've already taken over the next two weeks from my
visits to the cemetery, park garden and the dog park.
The thing is this.... and this is the thing....
I have 9 days of work left this school year and the paper work nightmare
that is the end of the school year has begun. Not to mention all the
end of the year activities not only at the school that I work but also
for both of my kids, plus baseball season and summer swim season getting
ready to start.
I hope everyone had a great mother's day. It was wonderful here. The
weather was fantastic. My son made me a little pottery bowl at school
and bought me a purple glitter pen at his schools spirit store. I love
purple.
My daughter made a little movie about why she and her brother love me on
a movie making app she has on her iPod. It was so cool. It brought
tears to my eyes because one of the things I want my children to feel
the most is that I am always there for them and that was my daughter's
reason she gave for loving me. It means so much to me that I have been
able to make her feel that way.
Next weekend we're going to buy new solar lights for my flower garden
because most of mine have died. I want new ones. That's my other gift.
We went out to eat with my husband's side of the family for an afternoon
dinner. Then, last night we hung out with my mom and her boyfriend and
took them out for ice cream at our local frozen custard stand.
This picture was taken at the dog park (in case you couldn't tell) and
includes all my kids... including the furry ones. Livvy is on the
ground, Caleb is getting ready to pick her up, Michaela is sitting next
to him and Izzy is on the bench trying to reach through to the boyo
Scotties behind it. These are the reasons I get to call myself "mom."
I love purple
